Eight SJS Students Inducted into National Junior Honor Society

One of the nation's oldest and most prestigious organizations for middle school students, the National Junior Honor Society welcomed eight SJS students as new members in an induction ceremony held at the school last Thursday. "Members were selected by the chapter's faculty council for meeting high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship," said Miss Sarah Kelly (NJHS co-advisor).

The new NJHS students included three 8th graders:Anna Bream, Luke Wayson, and Olivia Wayson; and five 7th graders: Leah Cirincione, Caitlin Dates, Riley Pfautz, Andrew Poggi, and Jonathan Zaprianov.
